Researchers Adrian Leslie and Nadine Raynolds of the Columbia Basin Rural Development Institute (RDI), give BC Rural Communities Summit delegates an opportunity to create “instant data,” and in the process make the point that good decisions are usually based on sound information.
Here’s what some of the audience members had to say about their presentation:
Loved this form of interaction, sharing of information and their team work. I enjoyed the contention around pay across gender as an example of why data is so important, and clarifying how we get it.
Some great discussion ensued. Very provocative and important issues to grapple with. Great speakers.
Loved the survey and participation by audience.
RDI does great work throughout our region – nice to see them tooting their horn, and spreading the word!
