On today’s show, a call for volunteers to help with this June’s 8th Biennial BC Rural Communities Summit in Kaslo, a reprise of an interview with Kaslo-based bat biologist Cori Lausen, notes from the most recent Village of Kaslo newsletter — and of course some fun Friday music. Enjoy!
I used to have a bat box in Sandpoint. We have lots of them here. If I fail to take down the hummingbird feeder it will be emptied by them during the night.
I have to smile. I was listening to your broadcasting of Charlie Parker and I thought the piece might be one I sent to you. And then, you gave me a shout out. Kinda scary hearing one’s name on the “radio.”
I’m still batchin’ it until Thursday while Barbara takes care of Brookings business.
